My project specialisation focuses on designing a café inspired by the Mediterranean style, blending warmth, simplicity, and cultural richness into a welcoming hospitality space. The aim of this project is to create an inviting café environment that captures the relaxed lifestyle and earthy elegance of Mediterranean design. The design emphasizes natural materials like textured plaster walls neutral color palette of warm whites, sandy beige, olive green, and deep blue enhances the coastal ambiance. Arched openings, curved furniture forms, and soft ambient lighting contribute to a cozy yet refined atmosphere. Indoor plants and subtle decorative elements inspired by seaside landscapes further enrich the sensory experience
My Capstone project explores the integration of Artificial Intelligence in Interior Design, focusing on the conceptual development of a modern office space. The primary objective of this project was to understand how AI can assist in concept ideation, space planning, material selection, and aesthetic refinement. The design style adopted for this office is Modern Minimalism with Classic Elegance. The modern minimalist approach ensures clean lines, uncluttered spaces, and a functional layout that promotes productivity and clarity. Neutral color palettes, sleek furniture, and efficient space planning create a calm and organized working environment. To balance this simplicity, elements of classic elegance were introduced through refined detailing, subtle moldings , warm textures, statement lighting fixtures, and premium materials such as marble, wood, and brass accents
This project explores the design of a small studio apartment inspired by the principles of Scandinavian style. The main objective was to create a space that feels open, calm, and functional despite its compact size. Scandinavian interiors are known for simplicity, minimalism, and a strong connection to natural light, and these concepts guided every design decision in this project. The layout was carefully planned to maximize space efficiency while maintaining visual openness. Light neutral tones such as white, soft grey, and warm beige were used on walls and major furniture pieces to enhance brightness and create an airy atmosphere. Natural materials like light wood, cotton fabrics, and subtle textured finishes were incorporated to add warmth and comfort. Overall, this studio apartment project reflects the Scandinavian philosophy of “less is more,” focusing on functionality, comfort, and timeless aesthetics within a limited area.
Building construction and furniture design are fundamental pillars of interior design, forming the structural and functional backbone of any space. Building construction provides the technical framework within which interiors are created. It involves understanding structural systems, materials, services, and construction methods. Knowledge of walls, floors, ceilings, foundations, lighting systems, ventilation, and building services enables interior designers to plan safe, practical, and efficient spaces. Furniture design, on the other hand, focuses on the human scale within the built environment. It combines ergonomics, functionality, craftsmanship, and aesthetics to create pieces that enhance comfort and usability. Furniture must respond to user needs, spatial proportions, and design concepts. It involves studying materials, joinery techniques, structural stability, and production processes.
Marcel Wanders is one of the most influential contemporary furniture designers, known for blending craftsmanship, storytelling, and theatrical imagination. This pocket book offers a concise yet inspiring exploration of his design philosophy, creative journey, and iconic works. It highlights how Wanders challenges minimalism by reintroducing ornament, emotion, and narrative into modern furniture design. The book traces his rise to international recognition with the groundbreaking Knotted Chair, a piece that combines advanced materials with traditional craft techniques. It examines his approach to form, texture, and materiality, showing how he transforms everyday objects into expressive works of art. Through selected projects, readers discover his signature style—romantic, bold, and often unexpected—where classical influences meet contemporary innovation.

The AI acted as a rapid visualization partner, converting conceptual descriptions into realistic interior renderings within seconds. This allowed me to experiment with different styles, layouts, and atmospheres without spending extensive time on manual modeling or rendering. By refining my prompts, I was able to control elements such as furniture placement, lighting effects, surface finishes, and spatial depth, resulting in more accurate and visually appealing outcomes.
As a designer, my approach is to create spaces that resonate with functionality, elegance, and personal style. My design philosophy centres on creating functional, meaningful, and aesthetically balanced spaces. I believe interior design should enhance everyday life by responding thoughtfully to the needs, lifestyle, and emotions of its users. For me, successful design combines practicality with beauty, ensuring that every element serves a purpose while contributing to a cohesive atmosphere. I am drawn to clean, timeless interiors that emphasise proportion, light, material honesty, and comfort. As I grow as a designer, I aim to create spaces that are not only visually appealing but also sustainable, purposeful, and inspiring for those who experience them.
